I’m Wendy van Dalen, founder of Dutch for Children. As a former expat, I know from my own experience how important language is for children to integrate and feel at home in a new country.
When I returned to the Netherlands with my family after years abroad, I noticed how valuable it is to teach children to speak Dutch well and confidently.
This personal experience and my passion for education led me to found Dutch for Children. We offer Dutch lessons to international children in the Netherlands, adapting learning to the needs of each family.

Our team has over ten years of experience working with children from expatriate families and understands their challenges. All teachers are native Dutch teachers and have been schooled in the Netherlands.
