We at Dutch for Children know that you care about how your personal information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Online privacy is very important to you and to us. Visitors to our website are entitled to it.

Online privacy is essential. Visitors to this website are entitled to it. Dutch for Children processes name and address data and financial-administrative data of individuals if they explicitly provide these data to us.
Log files
The website’s server automatically produces log files. These files contain the date, time, and requested page or URL, the visitor’s IP address, the browser used, the website that brought a visitor to our website, and search terms used for this purpose. For visitor analytics, Dutch for Children uses Google Analytics.
Social sharing
The website uses several plugins to display buttons that allow posts to be easily shared through various social media. These plugins use cookies to register and report the use of the buttons.
Permission to place cookies
We explicitly ask permission before setting these cookies. The use of embedded content from others, such as presentations from Slideshare or videos from Vimeo or YouTube, may result in information about visitors being tracked. We have no control over this.
Pupil data and student file
Dutch for Children does not store anything publicly. For Junior Einstein, we refer to its privacy policy.
The student’s first and last name, email address, and address information are requested for the online lessons. This information is needed for billing and sending reports. Students (their parents) always have the right to see and have their data changed or deleted. Inspection and right to modify and delete: the administrator of this website can’t alter or delete the information collected by Google Analytics and the plugins used. Also, the retrieval of the information recorded about an individual user is limited to the reports made available by those companies.
Protection devices and data carriers
Dutch for Children uses fixed computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. These are all password or code-protected. If these devices are not used, third parties cannot access the data on them since they do not have the password or code. When not in use, the laptop is closed, and the tablet and smartphone are off. No privacy-sensitive data is placed on USB sticks and CD-Roms.
Recordings
Classes and students are not recorded. Should we need a recording for internal training or other use, we will always seek your permission as a parent and the student’s permission first. The recording will not be used for any other purpose and, if for internal use, will not be available to third parties.
Recording the class and teacher by the student or a parent or anonymously following a class without notice is prohibited.
Received e-mail will be kept for 7 years following the business retention requirement. Quotes and invoices Dutch for Children use Pages and Numbers to compile and record quotes and invoices. These data are kept for 7 years by the tax retention obligation.
